Frequently Asked Questions
Hypnosis is a state of inner absorption, concentration, and focused attention.
It's often compared to daydreaming or the feeling of "losing oneself" in a book or movie.
In this state, people can turn their attention completely inward to find and utilize the natural resources deep within themselves that can help them make changes or regain control in certain areas of their life. You will be in direct communication with your subconscious mind.

If you do not see your problem listed it doesn't mean I can not help. Shoot me an email and let us talk about it together.
Sessions will mostly be over Zoom. If you are in the San Diego area we can meet in person on a case by case basis.
Our 20-30 minute consultation call is free
During that call, we will both determine if we're a good fit to work together. If you decide to move forward the cost for one RTT hypnotherapy session is $600 which includes 1.5 to 2 hour session, your personalized transformation recording, and 30 days of follow up accountability and support.
Reminder most people only need 1 session!
Yes, when practiced by a trained therapist or health care provider, hypnosis is generally considered safe. It's a natural state of focused attention.
RTT hypnotherapy is not recommended for anyone with epilepsy, narcolepsy, dementia, a personality disorder, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or psychosis. Nor is it recommended for anyone who is struggling with suicidal ideation/tendencies, self-harm, or serious heart conditions.
You can. Everyone can. As long as you wish to be hypnotized, you will be. It's an easy, enjoyable and thoroughly relaxing process.
No. Hypnosis is not about sleeping. It is a "sleeping" of the nervous system. You will be aware of everything going on. As a matter of fact, you and I will be talking and discussing your issue the whole time.
No. You are in charge. You cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do. You cannot be taken into hypnosis against your will either. You come willingly to me. I put you under hypnosis and then we discuss what you came to me about. It is a beautiful process. If for any reason, during the session you want to stop, you simply tell me and it will be over. Again, you are in charge the whole time.
RTT is a highly effective form of Hypnotherapy where YOU as a person matters. Every session is individual and is working on exactly what you want to change in your life. RTT stands for Rapid Transformational Therapy and stems from over 30 years of experience with clients from all walks of life. It combines the most beneficial principles of Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, NLP, CBT, and Neuroscience.
You are in complete control during the session. If something comes up that you do not want to disclose, then you will not. I can still help you as long as you can tell me how the details make you feel. I don't have to know what went on, just the affect it had on you.
RTT is not just hypnosis. It is so much more. While under hypnosis, RTT allows us direct access to the root cause of the self-destructive belief or action. The source of our issues is usually based on an age appropriate understanding, at the time of an event in our past. We couldn't fully understand it when we acquired the belief or behavior but it is now embedded in our subconscious mind. When we discover the false belief, it is corrected, released and replaced with a productive, healthy belief or behavior.
Once the belief is upgraded, the issue is gone. Sometimes is can take more than one session per issue, but as a rule of thumb, most issues are tackled in one session. There will be no more days, weeks, months and sometimes years of just sitting there and talking about your issues.
RTT is a result-driven therapy. Some clients come back for different issues. Once a client sees how easy it is to correct a behavior they start to realize other areas of life that might need an "upgrade" and they waste no time to return and "upgrade" even more. *Please note that long term depression and anxiety can take several sessions.
Almost every issue can be successfully addressed in one session. However, long standing issues that are the directly connected to eating disorders, depression, anxiety and weight reduction may require 3 or more sessions.
Unfortunately no, I do not directly work with any insurance companies and do not provide a diagnosis or documentation/paperwork to insurance companies. This protects the privacy of the work that we do and allows us the freedom to determine how we can best work together and for how long.
